WHERE WE MEET

Weekly dance classes:

 

We hold our weekly dance classes at the Church Hall, St. John's Anglican Church, 99 Brock St.,  Peterborough from September until mid-May. (Scroll down for a map.)  There is limited parking on site.  Additional parking is available on Brock St. or up the hill in front of the Court House.  Instruction begins at 6 pm for our Level 1 dancers, and at 7 pm for our intermediate and advanced dancers.  Shortly after 7 pm both classes are combined for the next half our or so.  Thereafter, Level 1 dancers are welcome to stay and watch, or to head home.   Classes will be run by Elizabeth McMahon and June Jacklin. The teacher(s) will advise when the dances are more difficult and will ask less experienced dancers to watch.

Monthly social dances:

​

We hold social dances once per month at the Church Hall, St. John's Anglican Church, Peterborough from October to April.   Social dances are held on Friday evenings starting at 7:00 p.m, usually on the third Friday of the month.  Our social dances feature live music and, at the intermission, refreshments provided by PSCDS members.  A fee of $15 per dancer is payable at the door.   Each dance is walked through before the dance begins.
