WHERE WE MEET

Weekly dance classes:

 

We hold our weekly dance classes at the Church Hall, St. John's Anglican Church, Peterborough from September until mid-May. (Scroll down for a map.)  There is dance instruction for all levels in our big combined class. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., class starts at 7 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m. or so. At the beginning of class, there will be easy dances with a focus on footwork skills and then the dances will progress to different levels of difficulty. Classes will be run by Elizabeth McMahon (with June Jacklin assisting). The teacher(s) will advise when the dances are more difficult and will ask less experienced dancers to watch.

Monthly social dances:

We hold social dances once per month at the Church Hall, St. John's Anglican Church, Peterborough from October to April.   Our social dances feature live music and, at the intermission, refreshments provided by PSCDS members.  A nominal fee is payable at the door.   Each dance is walked through before that dance begins.  Social dances are held on Friday evenings starting at 7:00 p.m, usually on the third Friday of the month.
